My Favorite Podcasts
Updated: Jul 17, 2019
I know what you're thinking. Podcasts? Really Bri? I know I know - but I thought was important to share about some of my favorite podcasts to encourage some of you to start listening! I was first turned on to podcast about three years ago when my brother introduced me to the Serial Podcast by This American Life. Being a Law & Order SVU, Investigate Discovery, true-crime-type-of-girl myself, I LOVED it! I immediately started searching other genres of podcasts and was hooked.
So I thought I would share with all of you, some of my favorite ones of 2017! It was a year full of amazing podcasts with great stories, lessons and laughs. So here we go:
1. My Favorite Murder with Karen Kilgariff & Georgia Hardstark
My Favorite Murder is a true crime comedy podcast ( I know, it sounds bad...) hosted by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark. Since its inception in early 2016, the show has broken download records. The podcast is essentially two girls talking about interesting murders throughout history, and they also happen to be hilarious!
2. The Goal Digger Podcast with Jenna Kutcher
This podcast has completely changed the way I view business and actually inspired me to start this blog - FINALLY. This live-workshop style business podcast is helping thousands redefine success and chase bolder dreams. You can train from the experts how to dig in, do the work, and tackle your biggest goals along the way.
3. The Influencer Podcast with Julie Solomon
This podcast is so beneficial if you are interested in being an influencer or working with influencers. Julie Solomon speaks to “influencer” industry in her podcast interviewing top influencers + creative entrepreneurs. She gives great insights on social media, blogging, and entrepreneurship in general which has been so encouraging.
4. Up & Vanished Podcast with Payne Lindsey
Okay guys, another true crime podcast... but stay with me on this! This is an investigative podcast that explored the unsolved disappearance of Tara Grinstead, a Georgia beauty queen and beloved high school teacher. He explores this case as the largest cold case file in Georgia's history. Along the way, they actually discover what happened to Tara and I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. A MUST listen!
5. DTR - The Tinder Podcast with Jane Marie
If you're anything like me, you love reality TV shows like Married at First Sight and Are You The One. The host, Jane Marie, brings guests on the show to uncover the truth behind online dating. They actually send people on Tinder dates, hook them up to microphones and talk about how the Tinder date went. It is hilarious and so entertaining!
